Shah Rukh Khan is a big sports enthusiast. The actor, who holds his interest in cricket, is also the proud owner of the IPL Team Kolkata Knight Riders. That apart, SRK also shared a close bond with legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. But did you know SRK had once joined Kapil Dev for an impromptu football match? Well, we also didn’t know until we stumbled upon this throwback picture of the two prolific celebrities. A picture from the ‘90s is doing the rounds on social media which will directly make you nostalgic.
The viral monochromatic picture features Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Dev, who look all indulged in the game. The duo was accompanied by Arbaaz Khan And Deepak Tijori. Going by the pictures, it seems to be a friendly match where SRK is seen giving a tough competition to Kapil Dev. ’83 is a sport-flick, based on India’s victory against West Indies in the 1983 World Cup. The release date of the film, which was set to release early this year, has been pushed to next year, owing to Pandemic.
